Are you a solar sales rep looking for a fully remote role?
We place experienced solar closers into UK renewable energy companies.
Work from anywhere, take qualified prospects through their options, and build
their proposal in solar PV design software — all without leaving your desk.

The work
Two types of role — both fully remote
Depending on the company we place you with, you'll be doing one of these, or a mix of both.
1
Remote closing — booked appointments
Qualified appointments land straight in your calendar. You take them over video,
present the system and the numbers, and close.
Appointments booked for you
Video appointments from home, no travel
Design software to present the system live on the call
2
WhatsApp consulting — proposal-led
Warm prospects come to you on WhatsApp. You work through their options with them by message,
then build an online solar proposal in the design software and take them through it.
You chat directly with prospects, back and forth on WhatsApp — no appointment gets booked unless a call or a survey is needed, and someone else picks that up
You build the proposal and present the options
Replies rather than fixed slots — but prospects expect a quick response, so it needs proper attention
Both are 100% remote. No door knocking, no driving to appointments.
Worth being clear up front: these are commission-only roles. There's no basic
salary — you're paid on what you close.
What you need to have
You've sold renewables before. Solar, batteries, heat pumps —
you understand the products and how the industry works. This isn't an entry-level role
and we're not going to teach you the product.
You can design a solar proposal yourself. OpenSolar, Easy PV,
Aurora or similar — you should be comfortable building a system and a savings case
without someone doing it for you.
UK-based, with your own laptop and a connection that holds a video call.
The hours are ad hoc. You pick things up as leads come in and
appointments get booked. It starts small and scales with the company — or companies, if we
place you with more than one. The role grows as you do.
The process
What happens after you apply
You qualify
A few quick questions so we know what you've sold and how you like to work.
We give you a ring
A quick chat about your solar background and what you're looking for.
We match you up
We'll put you with the companies that suit you and talk you through the commission
structure, the lead volume and how it all works.
You get going
Starting small and scaling as you prove yourself. We stay in touch once you're in.
Sound like you?
A handful of questions, about 60 seconds. If you've sold renewables before and you can build a
proposal, we'd like to hear from you.
Question 10%
How long have you been selling solar?
Straight answer is fine — we'd rather know now than on the call.
What have you sold before?
Pick the closest match.
On a typical solar deal, what did you actually take home?
To match you with a company that fits what you are earning now, tell us what
you are currently paid per deal. Some installers sell at a higher price point — more
commission per sale, but harder to close. Others sell cheaper, which is easier to close but
pays less per deal. Knowing where you sit is how we pair you with the right one.
We work with these companies every week, so we know what they pay — and the closer your
answer is to reality, the faster we can match you to a company that fits.

Now the one that matters — what is your best rate?
How the role actually works:
Leads land in your CRM. You work them by message, take appointments booked in for you
automatically, or a mix of both.
You build every proposal yourself in the design software.
Typical order value is around £11,000, though this varies from company to
company.
WhatsApp leads close at roughly 1 in 12 — and every one of them needs a
proposal sent.
Booked appointments close at roughly 1 in 5.
Those are the typical closing rates we see with these methods. If you can work to
those numbers, you are a good closer.
A closer performing well does around 20 deals a month. Most do 5–10 depending
on lead volume, sometimes more.
We get hundreds of applications and we are placing the best closers at the most
competitive rates. Tell us the best rate you would be happy to work on for closing solar deals
using the methods above.
Expect to be doing both appointments and WhatsApp messaging to start, unless the company we
place you with already has an appointment setter.
Which of these would you be happy doing?
Tick everything you're comfortable with — most of our roles are a mix. There's no wrong answer, it just tells us where to put you.
Tick as many as apply.
Which companies have you sold for?
Include where you are now if you are still working. Anything in solar or
renewables counts for most, but list other sales roles too if that is where your
experience is.
Can you build a solar proposal yourself?
Designing the system and putting the savings case together, start to finish.
Which design software have you used?
Tick everything you've worked with, and add anything we've missed underneath.
How many hours a week could you give it?
The hours are ad hoc — it starts small and scales as the lead flow builds.
